- There are three forts in this district. There is one fort in James Scotts farm at Dromoree, one fort in Jeremaiah O'Sullivans farm at Dromore and another fort in Mrs Brosnan's farm at Clountubrid. The two forts in Dromore are within a short distance of each other. I do not know any fort within a half-mile of the one in Clountubrid. They are all circular in shape each taking up about half an acre. James Scott dug out his fort. There were two big heaps of small stones in it. He drew the stones out on the road.
