  1. 1. There was a man who had a sick wife who was being watched to die. At last she died. As the coffin was going down the lane a bush caught the lid and opened it scratching the dead woman. Lo, she was only in a faint and lived.
    The next time the woman was being carried out the husband ordered the coffin bearers to go through the largest field for fear she might not be dead and be awakened again.
