    Candles
The way they had for making candles long ago was to kill a cow and with the tallow they used to make candles. They used to render the tallow and put it into a mound and let it set for a couple of hours. When it is set the candles will fall out.
They had better candles long ago than now.
    Skees
Michael Rahilly and Michael Dahorty were supposed to be the best, skeemakers. They used to have twigs and bow scasoning for a long while before they used them.
They used to weave the twigs accross the bow. They were very useful for turf and potatoes.
    Dyeing
They used to dye clothes with logwood and boil the clothes in it.
