    A giant named O'Gara lived at Moygara in former times. At the same time another giant lived in Ballymote. The O'Gara giant had an only daughter, and she married the Ballymote giant. After a time the two giants started fighting. One night the Ballymote giant cut off the head of the other giant with an axe - saw. Next morning the head was left on a plate before McDonagh's wife.
