    a large bird of a black colour. It builds in the tops of high trees and is a great nuesance to the farmer all the year round as they plunder his crops The magpie is about the size of the crow and of a white and black colour. This also robs the farmers and does much damage to young fowl. The Hawk is a large bird of a brown colour and is a bird of prey. The starling is a middlesized bird about the size of a blackbird of a bright and black colour with white dots. They generally go in flocks and are to be found all over the fields.
