  1. The Gobán Saor
The Gobán Saor and his son were two masons. The king of Scotland got them to build a large mansion. When it was built, there was no other building in the world as beautiful. The king wanted to kill the Gobán Saor and his son so that they would not build any other mansion so beautiful. He put the Gobán Saor and his son into prison. The Gobán asked the king to release him. The king refused to release him. The Gobán Saor said that he had a tool in Ireland with which he would make the palace more beautiful. The king refused to let him home to get the required tool. He sent one of his messengers instead. When the messenger came to the house, he asked the Gobán Saor's wife for the tool. She told him that it was in a large box.
