  1. There is a big Mass rock on our own land in Carrigans. It is about six feet wide and there are three big steps going up to it. There is an old story told about it.
Once upon a time a man was seen there and an other man saw him and asked him what was troubling him and he said there were a chalice and other things which he wanted. So the man went home and got a spade and started to dig but found nothing so he never saw the man again.
