    went to the door, opened it and looked out and to her surprise she saw a number of young men dressed with red coats and caps coming down from the fort with creels on their backs.
    She went into the house and said she got up too early.
    There is another story told about the fort. One morning a girl got up early and went to the door and looked out and saw young men on the street. The girl ran out, she fell and said a curse. The fairies brought her away and she was never saw again.
