    There was once an old woman who had two blankets.

    (continued from previous page)
    wanted her to give it to them but she would not. All she said was, when she died for them to roll the two blankets round her. The nephew did so when she died.
    The next night after the woman being buried was very cold and so the children were very cold without a blanket.
    "Well", said John to his wife "I will not see my children freeze with cold. I will go to the graveyard and get one blanket". His wife agreed.
