    seized him by the arm and threw him down from the top of the fort, he fell into a deep sleep, and he slept until about six o'clock in the morning, when he awoke he found himself outside his own door with his hands and feet bound. When he tried to free himself the ropes broke in two.
    He never afterwards went out alone at night.
