   In Corrigeen-carr where I lived before I came here that there was a man named Mr. Gallaher who had the cure for mumps. He used to put water from a trout's mouth into the mouth of the person who had the mumps. The trout had to be alive. The seventh daughter is believed to be lucky and beautiful. "Monday's child is fair of face. Tuesday's child is full of grace. Wednesday's child is loving and giving. Thursday's child has far to go. Friday's child is full of woe. Saturday's child must work hard for a living. But the child that's born on the bright Sabbath day is merry and bright and good and gay."
