  1. Beside Clogherevagh there is an empty and ancient house. My grandfather told me this story about it.
    The house is haunted by an old soldier who was murdered there. In Cromwells time, some of his men hunted this old Irish soldier. At last he came, footsore and weary, to this house where he hid. But the soldiers murdered him, and he is said to haunt the house.
