    murray Island once. He saw the statue of St. Molaise in the little church on the island. He took the statue and threw it out in the sea, but as soon as it was out in the sea the wind changed and blew it in on the island shore again. When he saw this, he put the statue into a small stack of turf to burn it but it would not burn.
    Then the Tireragh man set out for home. On his way home he got insane and died soon afterards.
