When they had the hare out nobody would take it so they stuck the handle of the fork in the ground and all the spectators stood around and looked at the hare hanging on the fork so buff thought to have revenge for his dog, so he fired two shots through the hare on the fork. The hare fell off and ran into an old mudwall house some distance away. The people all followed the hare there and when they went in they found (an) the old woman that was in the house dead and the only request she asked was: "not to take off her clothes”. The people not being satisfied with what they heard had her undressed and on her was all the marks of the Terriers teeth and the gunshots inflicted on her.
