    the grand lady said "Do not kiss your mother or if you do you will never see me again". "I will not" said John but as soon as she went in his mother kissed him and when he looked around the lady was gone. In a few days afterwards when he was feeding the grey mare she kicked him and broke his leg, then the grand lady appeared to him and said "you will be dead in nine days", and sure enough in nine days he died.
