    Oppressions grasp he loosened
    And he made the tyrant bend

    Obliged him to obey

    The loss of valiant Darcy
    For e’er we’ll bear in mind
    He was a man in action
    In manner but a child
    By all he was respected
    Here's to his memory
    His name shall be inserted
    On the face of history.

    A man of so much use
    In action or invention
    He exceeded them in skill
