    into his eyes he ordered the house to be demolished the following day.
    It is said that a priest went to Blakeney to intercede for his tenants. But Mrs. Blakeney would not allow the tenants to be re-instated. When the priest was leaving the house he rubbed his foot on the jamb of the door and twelve months from that day Mrs. Blakeney died.
