  2. My father Bartholomew Duignan told me the following story. John Gallagher of Moyor? Co Roscommon was one of the best mowers in this district. He could walk for miles and mow an acre and a half of heavy meadow in a day. He was over six feet in height. He is now over eighty years and he can walk five miles into Drumshambo.
