  1. Long ago the marriage customs were not the same as they are now. The boy and girl that were getting married would have their made made in a public house on a fair day. The morning that they would be getting married they used to go to the girls house for their. Then they would go away for a long drive on cars. All the neighbours would go away along with them that had cars. A, or if they had not cars they would go on horses. They would be away the whole day. At night when they would come back they would have a dance and a great many strawboys would gather into the house and they would be dancing there
