  1. My grandfather is the oldest man in Cloonbonive. He is about 74 years of age. His name and address is James Kelley Cloonbonive Dromahais. He told me that there is a holy well in Killargue. This well was consecrated about 30 years ago. It is in John Keegans field about 4/3 of a mile in from the road. People go to it from the 15th August to the next Sunday. It was a girl who saw the vision in the field and the well sprang up. The girl was dressed in white, The girls name who saw the vision was Kathleen Keegan Cornomoriff Killargue. There are fourteen stations at it and statues. In the field there was a battle fought between the French and the Irish in the olden times and it is called the hill of the dead since.
