   and the some came in front his his eyes and he told his father all about what happened. He said if you don't go quick the evil spirit will come after you. The father told the old woman happened. She went out but saw nothing. He would not go any where without the old woman and he never saw the spirit while she was with him.

   There was a boy who was very fond of playing cards and he was going home one night. He saw a very old man at the door of the house and the boy said go home and the man went over and took the boy by the hand and brought him to bead and he never played cards after that.
