  2. The Cow's Head
One night a man was going home from town carrying a cow's head. As he went by a field some small men came out and one said come on and we will kick football. "Where will we get the football" said the other. "From this man here on the road" said the fairy who spoke first. So they took the cow's head from the man. After some time they returned to the man with the head after kicking it. Next day the man put down the head to boil. But it could be down yet and it would not cook.
