  1. A cure for rash is to get up early three mornings and put a spit on the hearth and rub it of your face where the rash is.
    If you get a cut on your foot let the dog lick it and it will get better.
    The following are cures for teeth-aches. Sting your arm with a nettle or put a mustard plaster on your wrist.
    If you had a headache you should go to a certain woman who will measure your head.
    If you had a sore throat you should go to a man that never saw his father and let him blow into your mouth three times and it would get better.
    A cure for rheumatism is to put a bunch of nettles down your back.
    A cure for ringworm is to measure it three times with a gold ring.
    A foxes tongue will take out a thorn.
    Lie your small finger tightly with a sting to stop a nose-bleed.
    If you have a whooping cough ask a man driving a white horse what would cure it and whatever he'd tell you to take it and the cough would get cured.
    A cure for a burn is to spill ink on it.
