    There are eight thatched houses in Liskeavy and nine slated houses.
    There are three houses of the same name - McCormac - in our village. There are seven old people who are over 70 years in Liskeavy, they have all Irish, their names are Michael Glynn, Mrs. McGagh, Mrs. Blake, Mrs. Forde, Mrs. McCormac Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. J. McCormac.
