    There was a blacksmith in Kilchreest . . .

    that he would make a prisoner of him for telling lies. The blacksmith asked him what lies he was telling. You were saying that the French were to come to Ireland. The blacksmith said that was not a lie.
    The captain said that if they do not come to Ireland the day you said, we will make a prisoner of him.
    Perfse went home until the day the blacksmith said that he would come back. He then came back to the blacksmith and called the smith out. The captain said that he would make a prisoner of him because he told him that he had only until 12 o'clock.
    The blacksmith told him to go home and he would have a new story before him. He went home, and as he was going he met a soldier and the soldier gave him a paper,
