    There was a landlord in Roxboro . . .

    There was a landlord in Roxboro by the names of "Perfse". He had an agent by the name of Burke and it was he who knocked down the village of houses extending from the Roxboro estate to Bally Cuddy. The people had to go to their friends for shelter.
    There was another landlord in Woodville called Darcy. He was also a clerk of the courts. He left Woodville after a short time and it was replaced by a brother of Perfses called "Harry Perfse" was in Kilnaduma also. He lived in a place called "The Sycamore Lodge".
    There was another landlord in Dunsandle called "Blake"
