Bean Sidhe. If two chairs are put together by accident its a sign of a death. People will not light two candles together because it reminds them of a wake. If you sweep the dust off your kitchen floor across the threshold you will sweep your luck out. Never carry a stick or a spade into the house or put up an umbrella. If a person is washing his hands and another person comes to wash his, one of them should spit in the basin or else there will be a row.
