    A proverb is a wist saying and here are some I heard.
    1) "A stitch in time saves nine"- to do any thing in time saves trouble later on.
    2) "Take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves."- Save your pennies and they'll turn into pounds.
    3) "Never look a gift horse in the mouth."- Never make little of any presents you get.
    4) "Never put off to morrow what you can do to-day'"- Never postpone what you can do now.
    5) "Penny wise, pond foolish"- Saving a penny and wasting a pound.
    6) "A that glitters is not gold"- Out ward show is not everything.
    7) "The cobblers boots are always the worst"- He is so busy mending other people's shoes he can't mend his own.
    8) "One swallow never made a summer"- you must have plenty of every thing.
    9) "The crow always thinks her own child the whitest."- Every mother
