    p.m. Two men named Munnelly held possession of the fair Green and the hill that surrounded where the was held is ever known as Munnelly's hill.
    Another powerful man who lived at Knockmoyleen named Peter OMalley, or better known as Peter Mór. He once carried a great stone, estimated about ten hundred weight which could be seen until recently in the gable of a house at Slinane Row, which often drew the attention of the passers-by. He stood about six feet nine inches high and seventeen stone weight. He went to England about the year eighteen hundred and seventy. His appearance won for himself
