    The tools the blacksmith uses are chisels and many other things. He was many horse shoes hanging from one side of the forge. There is a clay floor in the forge but the piece of the floor at the foot is boarded for the horses to stand on. Blacksmiths are always thought to be very strong.

  2. There is a forge is near the town. It is about half a mile out of the town. It is along the mian road. His name is Nealy Gamble. There is two men in that forge. He makes harrows and grobers. His father was in that forge be fore him. It is a sment floor and has a small door. They smith has power too put rats out of a house. The smith makes tonges and pots. His brother is in the forge too. They sparks that flyd from the red iron is in the singe of a good shoe. The smith is very strong and has strong arms. And he fixes ploughs and double ploughs and graves.
