- When the milking is over, the sign of the cross is made on the cow with milk. The call for a cow is "Chay a lady". The call for turkeys is "Pee Pee" and the call for ducks is "Weeday Weeday".
- The sign of the cross is put on eggs for hatching and holy water is shaken on them. A bottle of holy water is kept hanging on the wall of the cowhouse to bring luck.
- Some people hang up a bottle of Easter Water in the stable. They hang blessed palm above a horses head. The call for sheep is "Thugay" and the call for wee birds is "birdie".
