- (continued from previous page)There is a cave in the farm of Patrick Coyle in which the priest used to hide his vestments. This cave was made by men. It is plastered with lime in the inside and great flags are laid over the top of it, and the laboured field is over it now.
- Mass was said in a field belonging to James Friel of Aughadahor. There is a Mass rock in it. There was a priest named Hegarty who was betrayed to the soldiers by his brother-in-law. There was a priest named Gallagher who said Mass in the houses in Creevy and Drim.
- There is a place in Glenree where Mass was said. It is at a rock near Glenree lake. There is another Mass place at Goland near Loughsalt Mountain. A priest was saying Mass there once and he had to run away and hide himself because he saw the English soldiers coming.
