(continued from previous page)wanted silver to come to the rock where the fairy was sitting. Sometimes he came every day and sometimes every other-day. But the fairy told him on no account to tell any-one. One day how-ever his wife was going to the shop and the old man gave her four half-crowns and the woman said "where on-earth do you get all this money" and he told the secret. But when he went back he could find no money and day after day he went back but found nothing.
