  2. There is a certain townland to which some enemies of St. Columcille's were to come at twelve o' clock. As there was no clocks the roosters crew at twelve.
    So Columcille ordered all the roosters to be killed. But there was one woman had a very nice rooster and she did not wish to kill him. So when twelve o' clock came, the rooster crew, and the enemies heard him, and Columcille had
