    Seanduine a bhí i dTeidhleann agus bhí muinighin mór aige ar tobar Aoidh ‘Ac Breicne agus bhí sé ar turas dhá uair go bárr Sliobh A’Liag. Piantaí na [genámh]? a bhí cur as do agus bhí sé tuairm chead bliadhan ‘san am. Thug sé iarraidh eile an triomhadh uair ar an tobair agus nuair a bhí sé tuirseach ag guidh dearacht craith sé abhata leis an altóir agus arsa seisean:-
    “Be the livin’ Aodh Ach Bricne muna léigheasfaidh tú mo an iarraidh seo
    Ndiaidh comh minic ar tharraing mé ort
    Ca dtigim do cómhair níor mó”
