  1. You make three holes in the ground, a few feet apart. Then you throw your marble to the first hole, standing some distance away from it. you throw to each of the holes, then go back to the line, and do the same thing again.
    When you come to the top hole, you throw your marble to the player who is playing with you. If you hit her marble three times in succession, you win hers and she must give you a marble.
