    In the year 1907 there was a severe north easterly storm. It knocked two groves of Larch timber in Tourin and knocked the thatch off many houses there.
    In September 1902 there was a severe east wind which tumbled all the stacks of hay and straw.
    Thunder Storms
    In July 1900 there was a storm of thunder and lightning. The lightning killed a mare and foal in a field not far from my home in the townland of Camphire in the parish of Cappoquin, Co. Waterford.
