  1. Not long ago every little girl in this district made dolls. It was a nice amusing pastime. At first a little bag was made and filled with wool to make a body. The head was made in the same way but it was small and round. Two dots of ink served as eyes while a cut in the material served as a mouth. The head was sown on to the body. Two long sticks served as feet and two shorter ones served
