    village who rode one of her horses. Before the race was over he fell off and was badly injured.
    Lady Oram took him to her home and kept him there until he got well again.
    There were big spanish asses in the races also. The winners of the races got prizes. There was no money given as a prize but horse or ass hardness or a bag of oats was given.
    There was a race for the men also.
    There was a man from our village and he won the prize
