Beggars are very scarce nowadays. Some beggars had money left after they died. These are they words of a song:- "of all the trades going sure begging is the best for when a man is tired he can sit down and rest".
The people were glad to help the poor beggars. The beggars told stories to the youngsters in the night time. The beggars were able to give a lot of information about other peoples plans to the people to the people that they were staying the night with.
