And he said, "Old cow old cow I consider, That I have no fodder to give you And I am lonely and miserable by myself Another Verse of an old Song How proudly we boast of the heroes of Ardagh, Who swore to defend us or die by our side. The war cries still ringing, the bright days are dawning. There is hope from high Heaven for the the turn of the tide. Both verses collected by Laurence Lavin from his father Patrick Lavin. Ardoughan Ballina.
