  2. First the smith gets a piece of Iron. He puts it in the fire to reden it. Then he blows the fire with the bellows. Until the sparks rise out of it.
    When it is red he takes it out with a pair of tongs. Then he puts it on the anvil. He makes it in the form of a horse shoe. Then he puts it in cold water to harden it. Then he puts seven holes in it.
