- Once upon a time there lived in Murrisk a very poor man. He had a wife and a large family. He had to work very hard for his living becauuse he had a very small farm of land.
He dreamt three times that if he went to London bridge he would get his fortune. A few days after he set of for London bridge. he landed in London in the morning and waited at the bridge until night but he did not get anything.
The third morning he went out he saw a young man coming towards him. The young man asked him what was he looking for so the man told him about the dream he had.
The yong man told him to go home and to lift the big flag that was at the back of his house.
The next morning the poor man set for home. When he come home his wife asked him did he get any money and he said that he did not get a penny.
When he had his supper eaten he went out and lifted the big flag and he got a pot of gold. His wife was delighted when she saw the gold and she said they would have plenty of money for the rest of their days.(continues on next page)- Collector
