  1. The supposed headquarters of all the forts of the district is in Carraig Siopaín. It has a round shape. It is called Dún.
    A man was herding cattle around this fort, and one day a calf crossed over the low wall which surrounded it. When he found the calf, he was dead. The man took particular care of the cattle after that. One day he fell asleep, and when he awoke he saw the calf alive and well in the midst of the other cattle. Because he made sure that no other calf would trespass on the fort, he got back the dead one.
