    with his mother in Glenree. Now all people think John is a fool but here is a story showing that he is God's messenger and is not as innocent as he seems to be. It also shows the kind of calls the priest has to put up with sometimes:-
    On day as Father Callaghan was sitting by the fire very contentedly with himself he heard a knock at the door. He went and opened it and found that it was John Durkin that was in it.
    The priest asked John what did he want. "I want you to come to my mother, she is dying", says John. "Is she in bed John", says
