  1. Walls
    Long ago the walls in the old houses were made of mud and stones.
    Roofs
    The roofs were made of scraws and straw. The scraws were found in the bog. Some of the people made the people made the roof out of heather.
    Fireplace
    The fireplaces were made from big old stones and dobe. The chimneys were placed near the old walls.
    Doors
    There was only one door in the houses except in some houses there were two doors. The doors were very small.
    Windows
    The windows were very small also. Three windows that were in every person's
