    for grinding the oats was in Knock. It was owned by a man called John Horkan. The mill itself was knocked down about forty years ago but the grinding stones are still to be seen. It was made from all oatmeal. Oatmeal bread is still being made.
    Long ago when a cake was put down to bake a cross was made on the top of it. People used breadsticks long ago for mixing the cakes. The bearer was the name
