    There was a school in Mick Cone's field.

    There was a school in Mick Cone's field.
    John Higgins taught in that school and his son is still alive in the village of Carraheel and is still in possession of some of the books.
    They were taught how to do sums and how to write and they had pencils and books.
    There was an other in pat Folliard's field.
    Thomas Gallagher taught in that school and he is dead now.
    There is a hollow in the field where the school was built.
