    told and the fox went to a lion who lived close by and said to him "a little way off lies a dead horse. Come with me and you may make an excellent meal of it."
    The lion was greatly pleased and he set off (and when) when they came to the horse the fox said "you will not be able to eat him here in comfort but I'll tell you what you will do. I will tie you fast to its tail and then you can draw it to your den, and eat it at your leisure. This pleased the lion so he laid down quietly for the fox to tie him to the horse and when he had done so he clapped the horse on the shoulder and said "Yip Eoibbin yip*" Up sprang, drawing the lion behind him.
