breast was this. In the far north long ago they used have fires lighting night and day to keep themselves warm. The lived a man in a house by himself and one day he lay down to sleep and a bear came along, and rolled himself on the fire, and quenched it all to one spark. A robin came along and he knew that if the fire went out the man would loose the place, and he would be without food. So he gathered small sticks and put them over the fire, and started to blow it and he had such trouble trying to light the fire that he scorched his breast and was called "robin red-breast" ever since.
